Thirty years turning good ideas into working businesses. Andy builds ventures across finance, insurance, technology and infrastructure, usually in the early stage where an idea is still more promise than proof.
A Queenslander by origin, born in Bundaberg, Andy has always been drawn to the practical side of ambition. Three decades across finance, insurance, operations and infrastructure have given him a broad toolkit and a builder's instinct for what it actually takes to get something off the ground: the capital, the systems, the right people, and the stubbornness to see it through.
Today he is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Interetail, a Darwin-based venture collective he runs with his business partner of 25 years, Josh Payne. Interetail is a business builder: it spots opportunities across insurance, finance, technology and infrastructure, then assembles the capability to turn them into sustainable ventures. In practice Andy wears a lot of hats at once, strategist, operator, dealmaker, and the person who rolls up his sleeves and sorts out the detail.

At the spear tip: AI orchestration
If one thing defines Andy's work today, it is artificial intelligence. He first experimented with early language models in late 2020, well before the mainstream, and when OpenAI's tools arrived in late 2022 his team jumped in head first. These days he works primarily with Anthropic's tools, orchestrating AI across the business rather than treating it as a bolt-on.
Just as important is doing it properly. The AndGo platforms run on Google Cloud in the Sydney region, carrying ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certification and IRAP-assessed status, while SignAndGo aligns its security practices to SOC 2, with AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest and two-factor authentication across every account. For Andy, that rigour is what makes moving fast something you can actually trust.
